We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a Senior Software Support Analyst on a consulting basis.  In this role, the Support Consultant will:

Support the client’ s platform at global data centers along with onsite installed instances. This individual will be responsible for team leadership, architecture oversight, solution creation, and solution delivery. The Senior Software Support Consultant will report to the Consulting Services Manager. In addition, you will be supporting the following: 
  • Facilitate training programs to ensure engineers can cover 2nd and 3rd level category issues
  • Collaborate with the Consulting Services Manager and Director of Engineering to ensure all software changes are coordinated with the ongoing engineering roadmap
  • Provide hands-on 3rd level support to customer review teams using the firm’ s platforms
  • Responsible for architecting software customizations, system performance improvements, end-user reporting requested by customers
  • Hold the team accountable for on-time completion with acceptable quality for all work
  • Conduct weekly cadence with the support team to gain visibility into progress and challenges and raise awareness to leadership when necessary
  • Collaborate with other team leads to share lessons learned and best practices

The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
  • Comfortable working with SCM tools (e.g. Atlassian, Team Foundation Server, Hudson, Octopus Deploy, etc.)
  • Support Engineer experience with Microsoft SQL Server OR Microsoft .NET is a must
  • Comfortable in a consulting setting with varying amounts of direct customer interaction
  • A mix of depth / familiarity with the following tools: SQL Server, Windows Server, ASP.NET, ASP MVC, JavaScript, AngularJS, and IIS
  • Working in environments that involve custom built software/data applications
  • Understanding of navigating a custom-built web-based software system
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose / resolve issues in .NET software and SQL based code
  • Strong capabilities with data (e.g. ETL, stored procedure development, SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
